Site Manager at Häv & Gräv!

Qualified Site Manager Sought for Häv & Gräv Do you want to drive projects where decision-making is fast, the pace is high, and results are visible and real? At Häv & Gräv, you'll have a central role in an entrepreneurially-driven organization where you not only lead projects—you're part of building both the business and the team. Häv & Gräv was founded in 2002 on Vikbolandet and has grown into a stable company employing over 100 people. We operate within earthwork, construction, concrete, blasting, crushing, and green space maintenance, with projects in Östergötland, Södermanland, and Stockholm. Our customers are primarily businesses, but we also work with private clients. We've built our success on a simple conviction: satisfied customers are the foundation for long-term growth. That's why we invest in quality, expertise, and strong partnerships. Despite our growth, we remain entrepreneurial in spirit. The organization is flat and non-hierarchical, with short decision-making paths and strong entrepreneurial drive. Here you're expected to take responsibility, make decisions, and contribute—while receiving close support from colleagues and management. Many of our employees share interests, and shared company activities are an important part of our community. We're a high-performing organization where people support each other and every individual makes a difference. We're now seeking a site manager who wants to help take us forward on our larger projects. This is a recruitment where you're expected to bring experience, structure, and leadership—particularly in larger construction projects. About the Role As site manager, you're responsible for independently driving construction projects from start to finish, with focus on economics, quality, and progress. You lead production on site, allocate work, and ensure resources are used efficiently. You work closely with skilled workers, often in teams of 10–20 people, and also manage subcontractors. The role involves significant responsibility for communication, both internally and externally, where you're a clear point of contact with clients, customers, and partners. Projects vary in size, but we'd like you to have experience from larger construction projects and bring that expertise into the organization. You'll be an important representative for Häv & Gräv and a natural ambassador in your role. Building relationships and networks are part of the everyday work, and we view it positively if you bring your own contact network or customer base. You report to the project manager and work in close dialog with management and other functions, with regular check-ins and planning meetings. About You We're looking for someone who is confident in a leadership role and has the ability to create structure and clarity in complex projects. You are stable, communicative, and have a natural way of building trust and team spirit. You lead by being present, clear, and solution-oriented, and you thrive in an environment where responsibility and results are the focus. At the same time, you're unpretentious and contribute to a positive work environment where people develop together. Experience-wise, you have a background in construction and project management, where practical experience weighs more heavily than formal education. You have solid knowledge of contract law in construction, are familiar with BAS P/U, and have experience managing different types of contracts, including turnkey projects. Experience with bridge or railway projects is a plus, as is experience with procurement and working with subcontractors. About Häv & Gräv At Häv & Gräv, you get the opportunity to influence, develop, and drive projects in an organization in constant motion. With modern equipment, broad expertise, and a solution-oriented approach, we deliver quality and reliable results on every assignment. As part of our quality work, we're certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. At Häv & Gräv, you get the opportunity to influence, develop, and drive projects in an organization in constant motion.
