We provide approved services in people's homes (ordinary housing) and work in the areas of Smedby, Lida kullar, Rambodal, Lindö, Atrium, Silver- and Guldringen, Ensjön-Åselstad, Styrstad and Tingstad. With a user-oriented approach, we help mainly elderly people to live an independent and secure life in their own homes, where we always take into account their individual needs and decisions from social workers. The unit has shared leadership between two managers who work closely together for the common unit. Our team consists of about 50 committed employees divided into 7 different care teams. Your Tasks As a nursing assistant in home care, you have an important role in creating security and quality of life for our users in their own homes. You provide individualized and professional care and attend to and address physical, mental and social needs. You provide personal care which may include help with hygiene, dressing and medication handling. You also contribute to a pleasant home environment by helping with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping and laundry. Beyond that, you have an important social role where you create security and community through conversation, walks or other activities that contribute to the user's well-being. You work both independently and in good cooperation with colleagues and with other professions, where you together create quality in health and care. Documentation and recording of deviations are a natural part of your work to ensure good continuity and quality. Similarly, contributing to operational development and following the procedures that exist around the work. You have contact with relatives, social workers and home healthcare. It is especially important to pay attention to changing needs. Our operations are conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. every day of the week and you work every other weekend. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant according to the Social Board's regulations. You have experience working in health and care as well as experience working in service professions. As a person you are calm, secure and have a good approach to the people you meet. You communicate clearly and adapt your communication based on the recipient. You collaborate well with others, but also enjoy working independently. You work independently and see what needs to be done and take your own initiative to provide the best possible care. At the same time, you are collaboration-oriented and like to contribute and support colleagues in your team. Furthermore, you are flexible and can adapt when plans change in your daily work. You easily prioritize and find solutions in different situations, even when it gets stressful. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
