We're now seeking a site manager who wants to help take us forward on our larger projects. This is a recruitment where you're expected to bring experience, structure, and leadership—particularly in larger construction projects. About the Role As site manager, you're responsible for independently driving construction projects from start to finish, with focus on economics, quality, and progress. You lead production on site, allocate work, and ensure resources are used efficiently. You work closely with skilled workers, often in teams of 10–20 people, and also manage subcontractors. The role involves significant responsibility for communication, both internally and externally, where you're a clear point of contact with clients, customers, and partners. Projects vary in size, but we'd like you to have experience from larger construction projects and bring that expertise into the organization. You'll be an important representative for Häv & Gräv and a natural ambassador in your role. Building relationships and networks are part of the everyday work, and we view it positively if you bring your own contact network or customer base. You report to the project manager and work in close dialog with management and other functions, with regular check-ins and planning meetings. About You We're looking for someone who is confident in a leadership role and has the ability to create structure and clarity in complex projects. You are stable, communicative, and have a natural way of building trust and team spirit. You lead by being present, clear, and solution-oriented, and you thrive in an environment where responsibility and results are the focus. At the same time, you're unpretentious and contribute to a positive work environment where people develop together. Experience-wise, you have a background in construction and project management, where practical experience weighs more heavily than formal education. You have solid knowledge of contract law in construction, are familiar with BAS P/U, and have experience managing different types of contracts, including turnkey projects. Experience with bridge or railway projects is a plus, as is experience with procurement and working with subcontractors.
