At Individual and Family Care, we handle administrative matters within various areas of social services. We also provide open care for adults, children, and families. Family Center is part of Individual and Family Care and consists of two teams: the Family Team and Team NP. The operation includes approximately 25 employees and two senior treatment secretaries. Within the unit, there is also a supportive housing facility for young people. The current position is placed in the Family Team. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS We are now seeking an engaged employee for Family Center who is passionate about working with change together with families and who wants to help further develop the municipality's open care. As a treatment secretary with us, you work to offer qualified change and treatment work for families with children and young people aged 0-18 years. Many of the families we meet are in demanding life situations and need support to create a safer, sustainable, and functioning everyday life. You collaborate with authorities, schools, Region Östergötland, and other actors. The work takes place in the family team's facilities, in the family's home, or other environments where the family or family members are located. As a treatment secretary, you work based on Signs of Safety, focusing on the family's own resources, network, and opportunities for change. We have begun a transition process to the new Social Services Act, which presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a more accessible, preventive, and knowledge-based family treatment, with a focus on early intervention and meeting families' needs in the best possible way. QUALIFICATIONS Formal competencies: • Bachelor's degree in social work or other relevant academic education that the employer deems equivalent. • Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form as well as good computer skills. • Class B driver's license • Experience with treatment work with children, young people, and families • Training in, for example, KIBB, FFT, EBF, Tryggare barn, or Trygghetscirkeln • Experience with Signs of Safety; if you lack this, there may be an opportunity to obtain it through us Personal competencies: You are stable and confident in yourself, manage stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks.
