The Social Services Department is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and shall implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are permeated by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and service mindset. At Individual and Family Care, public authority matters are handled within various areas of social services. There is also outpatient care for adults, children, and families. We are a workplace with approximately 180 employees, both men and women of varying ages and years of experience in the profession. DUTIES Lead and distribute daily work regarding recruitment, investigation, and follow-up of contractors such as foster families, contact persons, HVB homes, etc., according to applicable legislation based on the Social Services Act, LVU, LVM, and LSS. Guide and support case handlers in their daily work. Manage and develop the work and employees so they meet the requirements and expectations placed on the unit and can also provide intended service and quality to contractors. Cooperate with both internal and external parties. Work for a good work climate and be available for support and advice. QUALIFICATIONS Sociology degree or other university education that the employer deems equivalent. Category B driver's license You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you start. You set timeframes and meet deadlines. You follow set goals, set your own, work toward them, and focus on results. You are guided by goal and results thinking in prioritizations, planning, and actions.
