The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and must implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by placing the individual at the center to meet their needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and a service mindset. Within home care services, you will support and help make daily life better for those who need help and support in their ordinary homes. We look forward to you joining us and making daily life better for the people we support and serve! The Home Care Services Unit - Gamla Stan has almost 30 employees. We work in several different types of areas, both among the high-rise buildings in Gamla Stan and in residential neighborhoods around and at Mossen. We cycle and walk to our clients. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including major holidays. 4 position(s). DUTIES As a care assistant in Motala municipality, you will provide our clients with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. You will guide, support, and motivate the client in a respectful manner to manage their daily routines as well as possible based on their own abilities. We offer varied work focused on daily care activities. You will perform tasks related to personal care, meal assistance, social interaction, accompaniment, service assignments, etc. You will also perform healthcare tasks by delegation and document in our record systems. As a care assistant in home care services, you will be a fixed care contact, which means you actively work to create safe and trust-based relationships. The work requires great commitment and your active participation to develop and improve the operation. QUALIFICATIONS Formal competencies: • You must have completed care and support education and have a completed degree. • Experience using the computer as a tool at work and you adapt easily to new digital tools. • Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish, as the work involves documentation and extensive dialogue with colleagues and clients. • Previous experience with care and support-related tasks is a merit. • You can cycle Personal competencies: • You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you start.
