The Department of Infectious Diseases at Skåne University Hospital (SUS) consists of approximately 330 employees and provides specialized care for infectious diseases and immunodeficiency. WORK ASSIGNMENTS We are now welcoming a nurse to our infectious disease clinic with an assignment in the Needle Exchange Program for a temporary position that extends over one year. The two main purposes of the needle exchange program in accordance with the needle exchange act are to prevent blood-borne infections and to curatively work toward freedom from drugs. You work in a team together with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, a social worker, and a midwife. The main work assignments are the management of infections in the target group.
