We are now recruiting a team member for Crisis Center Housing Heder. Crisis Center Housing Heder is an HVB (home for care or housing) for young people with legal gender female, ages 14–22, who are victims of honor-related violence and oppression or intimate partner violence and have a protection need.
All placements are preceded by contact with social services and can occur both as planned and emergency placements, 24/7.
Job Responsibilities
As a daytime social secretary, you are primarily responsible for conducting risk assessments according to HEVA and/or FREDA. The risk assessments concern exposure to violence related to honor-related violence and oppression as well as intimate partner violence, including youth partner violence. Based on completed assessments, you propose appropriate protective and support measures. You also have responsibility as a contact person for one or more youth and are the primary responsible party for them during the placement period.
The assignment includes planning, monitoring, and coordinating interventions based on the young person's needs. The work involves close collaboration with placing social secretaries, police, school, BUP, and other relevant actors to ensure coordinated and quality support.
The work also includes supportive conversations, documentation, and administrative tasks. Since the work takes place in a residential setting, practical work tasks are also part of daily operations to create a safe, structured, and well-functioning environment for the placed youth.
The role requires strong ability to build trusting relationships, make professional assessments, and work with children and young people in vulnerable life situations. Good knowledge of honor-related violence and oppression, intimate partner violence, and understanding of crisis and trauma issues are of great importance.
The position involves daytime, evening, and weekend work according to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least two years of current experience in relevant social work. We also want you to have previously encountered cases involving honor-related violence and oppression as well as intimate partner violence through your work.
You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you speak other languages, this is meritorious. A valid driving license for a manual transmission vehicle is desirable but not required.

Given the nature of the operations, it is of great importance that you communicate clearly and that you are confident in yourself and have the ability to build trust. You should be able to make quick and clear decisions that may involve difficult choices. You should be able to take your own initiative, act with confidence, and work independently. It is important that you contribute to the work team and see the value of being a team player. You should have the ability to listen, consult with colleagues/management, and communicate proactively.
You will work with youth and young adults in a collective setting where you as an employee are expected to handle the placed individuals both individually and in groups. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of conflict management. It is of great importance that you show respect for other team members' (both colleagues and placed individuals) opinions and contributions.
About the Workplace
The work team at Crisis Center Housing Heder consists of 12 employees, including one coordinator who works daytime, six employees who work day/evening, and five who work evening/night.
The operation is one of several activities within the Crisis Center unit, which belongs to the Employment and Social Services Administration.
