The position is in the Better Regulations unit, which assists the Regulatory Council in its work. Regulators are required to conduct impact assessments when developing new or amended regulations. The Regulatory Council is a special decision-making body within Tillväxtverket tasked with deciding, from a business perspective, whether the quality of impact assessments meets an acceptable level.
About the Position
The main responsibilities of this role are to assist the Council in reviewing impact assessments and developing decision proposals that will also be presented orally to the Council. The work also includes methodological development, guidance, and training regarding impact assessments with the aim of improving quality.
Your workplace will be: Stockholm, Östersund, or Malmö
We are Looking for You With:
- A degree from a university or college, preferably in a social science field such as political science, economics, or law.
- Knowledge of simplification issues within public administration.
- Excellent knowledge of the legislative process at both EU and national levels.
- Very strong ability to express yourself well in writing in both Swedish and English.
- Extensive experience giving oral presentations and lectures.
- Previous work that has required you to quickly familiarize yourself with different subject areas in order to identify effects and consequences of regulations for businesses.
The Following Are Meriting:
- Knowledge of impact assessment development in rulemaking according to Regulation 2024:183 on impact assessments.
- Experience providing appropriate support in developing impact assessments or similar documents.
