Pastry Chef at Malmö Arena Kitchen

Malmö Arena is centrally located in the expanding Öresund region of Hyllie. Our operation is broad in character, serving various areas within sports, entertainment, and food. We offer first-class events of all kinds, and with us you can arrange conferences, congresses, trade fairs, exhibitions, networking events, and celebrations. Would you like to create culinary experiences in one of Malmö's most exciting event venues? Malmö Arena is now seeking a passionate and driven pastry chef who wants to be part of our kitchen team. This position is a full-time temporary contract for 12 months starting by mutual agreement. Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends depending on the arena's activities and events. About the Position As a pastry chef with us, you are responsible for producing desserts, baked goods, and other pastry items for conferences, restaurants, lounges, banquets, and large events. You work closely with the kitchen team and contribute to ensuring high quality, good planning, and professional execution even during busy periods. We offer a varied work environment where no two days are the same, and where you have the opportunity to help develop our dessert and baked goods range. Qualifications Requirements - Education in pastry arts or equivalent documented professional experience. - Strong knowledge of dessert production, cake production, and classical pastry craftsmanship. - Good skills in Swedish or English. - Ability to work evenings and weekends. Merits - Experience working as a pastry chef in restaurants, bakeries, hotels, or similar establishments. - Experience with production for large events and banquets. - Knowledge of special diets and allergy-adapted products.
