JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work as a teaching assistant requires great ability to be, for example, attentive and flexible. You should be able to meet students in various situations and may need to provide a helping hand during their school day and leisure time. GNR has two care units, one focused on rehabilitation (26A) and one for stroke/neurology (26B). Unit 26B manages stroke care, including thrombolysis and thrombectomy, as well as postoperative care following carotid surgery. Basic inpatient neurology is included on unit 26B. GNR is fundamentally well-staffed on the physician side with 20 specialists and 8 ST-residents in internal medicine, neurology, geriatrics, and rehabilitation medicine. Unit 26B is rounded by a joint physician group that includes internists with stroke focus and neurologists. These physicians also staff a shared on-call line for this patient group. The neurology outpatient clinic is relatively comprehensive and also carries out a consultation service during daytime hours. Unit 26A is rounded by geriatricians who work in interprofessional teams. SPOT (Specialist Psychiatric Care Team) is a mobile, planned resource and part of psychiatry's initiative to prevent hospitalizations, reduce inpatient care times, and offer patients more participation and better outpatient care. We are 25 employees in the team staffed by nurses, doctors, a social worker, treatment assistants, and care workers with solid knowledge and experience in psychiatry. SPOT also includes our LARO program and our acute psychiatric operations. LARO is medication-assisted treatment for people with long-term and serious opioid dependence, where nurses and care workers operate. SPOT also includes adult psychiatry's acute operations where nurses, care workers, and doctors work. All acute cases received by adult psychiatry during business hours on weekdays are handled there.
