The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes in the field. It is also responsible for services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The business's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telecommunications to the region's operations. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support for complex and vital operations. IT also works extensively as a client organization since large portions of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the service is focused on work with care-focused management and development. We are now seeking several systems administrators/object specialists for the care-focused systems management unit. You will work within the Care Support and e-Health management object with a focus on Cosmic. This position is a special full-time fixed-term contract for one year with the possibility of extension. Start date by agreement. Optional placement within the region in Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. If needed, the opportunity can be provided for clinical work on a certain part of the position. The unit is responsible for care-focused systems management of Cosmic. You will work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to ensuring the system functions in the daily work of healthcare staff. The mission involves developing, managing, and improving system support. We are now strengthening the regional Cosmic management within the following areas: Care Documentation Care Administration Medications Ordering and Response Training Based on your competency profile, you will be matched to a relevant area. Responsibilities Handle issues related to Cosmic and ensure they are followed up and addressed Analyze operational needs and translate them into concrete improvement suggestions for systems and working methods Order and validate configuration in collaboration with the provider Conduct dialogue with operations to capture needs and support system usage Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation for end users Contribute to management plan activities being carried out according to schedule Conduct training initiatives for the operations Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and version upgrades of the system Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has academic education within healthcare or other higher education that the employer deems relevant Has experience working with the Cosmic healthcare information system Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Has a B-class driver's license It is meritorious if you: Have education in systems management or information systems Have clinical education (e.g., registered nurse, nursing assistant, physician, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have professional experience in care-focused systems management or similar work Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks Have professional experience planning and conducting training initiatives Have professional experience collaborating with providers and external parties Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Resilience Pedagogical insight Relationship building Service-oriented Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several operations that are crucial to residents' ability to participate in society.
