About the Business The Regional Management Office has three main responsibilities: To direct and support operations based on legislation and regulations. To offer support and services to the operations' processes and development. To provide support and qualitative information to the political representative organization and regional management. The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes for the area. It also manages services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The business's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's operations. Deliveries are provided through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT largely functions as a client organization since large portions of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the service focuses on work with clinical systems management and development. We are now seeking two systems administrators/object specialists for the clinical systems management unit. You will work within the Clinical Support and e-health management object with a focus on Cosmic. This position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. If needed, the opportunity may be offered for clinical work as part of the position. Flexible work location within the region in Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. The unit is responsible for clinical systems management of Cosmic. You will work closely with clinical operations and contribute to ensuring the system functions well in daily work for healthcare staff. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. We are now strengthening the regional Cosmic management in the following areas: Clinical Documentation Clinical Administration Medications Ordering and Response Training Depending on your competency profile, you will be matched to a relevant area. Key Responsibilities Handle issues related to Cosmic and ensure they are followed up and resolved Analyze operational needs and translate them into concrete improvement proposals for systems and work processes Order and validate configuration in collaboration with the provider Engage in dialogue with operations to identify needs and support system usage Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation for end users Contribute to implementation of management plan activities according to schedule Conduct training initiatives for operations Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and system version upgrades Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has academic education in healthcare or other higher education that the employer considers relevant Has experience working with the Cosmic healthcare information system Has strong Swedish language skills, spoken and written Holds a valid driver's license (category B) It is advantageous if you: Have education in systems management or information systems Have clinical education (e.g., nurse, healthcare assistant, physician, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have work experience in clinical systems management or similar work Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks Have work experience planning and conducting training initiatives Have work experience collaborating with providers and external parties Have strong English language skills, spoken and written Personal Qualities for Success Persistent Pedagogical insight Relationship building Service-oriented About Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several operations that are crucial for residents' ability to participate in society.
