We are looking for someone who enjoys varied and developmental tasks and has a genuine interest in working with psychiatric nursing care. SPOT (Specialist Psychiatric Care Team) is a mobile, planned resource and part of psychiatry's initiative to prevent hospitalizations, reduce inpatient care times, and offer patients more participation and better outpatient care. We are 25 employees in the team staffed by nurses, doctors, a social worker, treatment assistants, and care workers with solid knowledge and experience in psychiatry. SPOT also includes our LARO program and our acute psychiatric operations. LARO is medication-assisted treatment for people with long-term and serious opioid dependence, where nurses and care workers operate. SPOT also includes adult psychiatry's acute operations where nurses, care workers, and doctors work. All acute cases received by adult psychiatry during business hours on weekdays are handled there. We can offer exciting and varied work. This is a permanent position at 100% employment with start date October 1, 2026 or by agreement. We are a good team that enjoys working together and focuses on the patient. We offer a stimulating and positive work environment. As a nurse in SPOT, you will work Monday–Friday with daytime hours on 4 of the workdays and evening hours on 1 of the workdays. This results in a weekly work time of 38.25 hours, which means you also work on public holidays that fall on a weekday. No regular weekend work is currently included. Job Responsibilities In your role as a Registered Nurse, you will meet patients who need acute and intensive psychiatric support. Patient work is carried out through home visits, telephone consultation, clinic visits, or video visits. The work tasks are varied and include: - Nursing care responsibility - Responsibility for leading and distributing work during shifts - Daily management - Supportive and motivating conversations - Assessments As a nurse, you are responsible for nursing care for a number of patients and work in close collaboration with other team members. You: - Participate in rounds and treatment conferences - Document and report - Perform follow-up work Medication management and medication administration are also included, as well as performing acute psychiatric assessments in consultation with a doctor or in collaboration with primary care on-call services. You will cooperate with care colleagues within regional operations and with external partners.
