About the Operation The Oncology Department is part of the Regional Operation for Oncology, Mammography and Palliative Medicine. Together we work to provide patients and their loved ones with safe, cohesive and patient-centered care throughout their entire care journey. This requires high quality, close collaboration between professions and leadership that both develops the operation and creates good conditions for staff. As a unit manager, you will become an important part of the operation's management team. You will be part of the clinic's management group and report directly to the operations manager. In the management group, we have an open and permissive climate where managers receive good support from each other. The management group is stable and experienced with management colleagues who have worked together for several years. They are also well versed in the work on the care unit and can assist with questions and concerns. To support your work, you also have the operation's HR consultant, finance consultant, and clinic administrator. We work together on the operation's development and view leadership as a shared responsibility. With us, you are expected to contribute both to your own unit's development and to the whole, while receiving support from experienced management colleagues and an open collaborative climate. We are therefore looking for a manager who wants to combine present-day leadership in daily operations with long-term development work for the future of cancer care. The employment is a permanent position in the base profession and the management appointment is time-limited according to the Region's leadership policy as a guideline.
