About the Position Scouterna and the City of Västerås intend to establish a long-term collaboration through an idea-driven public partnership (IOP) with the goal of strengthening children's and young people's opportunities for meaningful leisure time. Together, we want to increase the proportion of children and young people who participate in organized leisure activities, with particular focus on the western districts of Västerås where the need is greatest. Through this project, we develop new working methods and activities that contribute to increased community, safety, and hope for the future. The work is based on the scout method, where learning by doing, participation, and community are central. The initiatives include both recurring leisure activities, camp activities, and development of new forms of activities that reach more children and young people over time. This can, for example, include day scout camps, family outings, and evening activities. The project should not only create activities here and now, but also help more children, young people, and families find their way into associational life and be given the opportunity to continue their engagement. As project manager, you will have a central role in driving and developing this work. You are responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of the activities, and work closely with both Scouterna's organization and the City of Västerås. The role involves translating overarching goals into concrete activities and ensuring that the initiatives have an impact on the target group.
