Your role as Project Engineer As a Project Engineer in Ballast, you will be an important support function to the business and work closely with work managers, site managers, and production teams. You have a central role in monitoring operations and contribute to creating structure, quality, and profitability in our projects and quarries. In this role, you work with project financial follow-up, production reporting, forecasts, and various types of financial analyses. You are responsible for ensuring that article assortments, price lists, and index adjustments are updated in our business systems, and you assist with inventories and preparation of financial reports. You also support the business in estimation and quotation work as well as contract management and supplier matters. Beyond day-to-day operations, you have an important role in developing the business's methods and system support. You participate in improvement and development initiatives, work on quality, environment, and workplace health issues, and contribute to creating efficient processes for the future. Placement is at one of our offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, Enköping, Västerås, or Örebro. Daily travel within the region occurs as part of the position. Who are you? We would like to see that you have: Experience from construction, civil engineering, industrial, or ballast operations. Good experience working in business systems and digital operational support tools. Very good Excel skills. Experience with financial follow-up. B-class driver's license. Communicates well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have: Post-secondary education in, for example, finance, engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent experience. Experience from a role as project engineer, project administrator, estimator, controller, or similar. Knowledge of quality, environment, and workplace health work. As a person, you are proactive, thorough, and responsible. You have good analytical abilities, enjoy improving work methods, and find it easy to create good collaborations with managers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
