Physical Care: The role involves physically demanding tasks throughout the day, including support with transfers, meal times, personal care, and toilet visits. You are also responsible for ensuring all the student's assistive devices (e.g., activity chairs, walking frames, communication computers) are clean and optimally adjusted. Logistics and Collaboration Our operations are built on strong teamwork. Morning logistics determine where needs are greatest, which requires flexibility and the ability to shift focus wherever needed – whether in the classroom or during leisure time. As a resource, we expect you to: Take responsibility for following established routines. Ensure important information about your student is communicated. Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other colleagues and professionals. Contribute to a good work environment by maintaining order in classrooms, school facilities, and hygiene areas. Give students opportunities to actively participate in pedagogical activities during the school day, after-school time, and school holidays. Who Are You? We're looking for someone with a positive view of students and good physical health. You understand that your role is crucial for students to reach their learning goals. Professional & Proactive: You see what needs to be done, whether it's supporting a student in the classroom or helping a colleague. Reliable & Strong: You're comfortable with physical work and see the care aspect as a natural part of the pedagogical day. Communicative: You're skilled at using and introducing various communication tools, given that students range from primary school to adapted primary programs at different curriculum levels, and you enjoy good communication with your team. Experience: You have some experience or training in similar work (such as personal assistant, student assistant, childcare worker), and nursing education is a merit but not required. Why Choose Us?
