About Amerikanska Gymnasiet, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage By Brunnsviken in the beautiful nature of Norra Djurgårdsstaden, we started a upper secondary school in the fall of 2023. The school is entering its fourth academic year in the fall and will then have approximately 500 students studying in the Natural Sciences, Economics, or Social Sciences programs. Teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching team with a strong sense of community. About the Role We are looking for a teacher to teach our students in mathematics and physics. We are also currently recruiting teachers in chemistry, natural sciences, and AI, so if you wish to combine with teaching in any of these subjects, please indicate this in your application. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, which you will receive guidance in. You will work closely with an engaged and conscientious teaching team, where collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of everyday work. You will teach in a digital environment with digital teaching materials in combination with traditional literature. Teaching takes place in both Swedish and English. The position also includes mentorship for a class. This is a permanent full-time position and begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date August 3, 2026, or by agreement. Your Profile The position requires a Swedish teaching license and certification to teach mathematics and physics at the upper secondary level. It is also highly meritorious if you have experience teaching in current subjects, preferably at the upper secondary level. You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
