Popis:

Stockholm – our capital with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we're looking for you to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm. Bromma District Administration offers you a workplace where your contributions truly make a difference and contribute to societal benefit in a growing district. Here, active employee engagement and clear leadership form the foundation for a developing operation. Welcome to Us Are you interested in developing together with us? With us you'll find competent colleagues who always step up – and who know that laughter (and coffee breaks!) make the job more fun. The unit is part of the Social Services and Leisure Department, Children and Youth Area. The area is led by an area manager and is divided into four units, each with a unit manager. The Reception Unit for Children and Youth consists of two groups with a total of 15 social secretaries, 2 group leaders, and an administrative assistant. Children's participation is a central part of our work, and we have several children's rights ombudspersons who are responsible for protecting children's rights. The current unit consists of employees who have a positive attitude toward the work. We support each other and create job satisfaction even in tough situations. The Reception Unit for Children and Youth is undergoing exciting changes where, in addition to traditional reception work and fast-track investigations, we have introduced several new functions linked to the new Social Services Act, where we have begun working in a more outreach and preventive manner. The unit is part of First-Line Social Services, an initiative to get closer to our target groups and offer earlier interventions. The implementation of First-Line Social Services is the first step in a long-term development effort of Bromma's social services. What We Offer We offer you good employment benefits including professional development, wellness allowance, good flexible working hours, and holiday exchange options. Remote work is possible when work allows. We have an introduction plan that is followed up regularly during your first time with us, and we offer you close management with good opportunities for development. We in the Children and Youth Area in Bromma: • actively participate in the transition to the new Social Services Act. • participate in several collaborative formats with internal and external actors, such as other areas including police, healthcare, and schools/preschools. • regularly follow up on your social work environment through "Bromma Conversations." • offer external supervision • provide opportunities for further training at both basic and advanced levels Your Role We are now looking for a social secretary to work with fast-track investigations regarding children aged 0-20 years. As a fast-track investigating social secretary, your main duties will be to investigate children's need for protection based on a limited number of specific questions. As a fast-track investigator, you will have weekly meetings with your work group, individual and external case supervision, as well as close collaboration with colleagues, group leaders, and the unit manager. As a fast-track investigator, you are also expected to assist your colleagues with reception work when needed. We hope that you: – have a strong child and youth perspective. – are responsible, flexible, and stable. – have good empathetic ability and can create good collaborative relationships. – are structured and confident in your professional role and place great emphasis on legally sound case handling. – work independently by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well. Your Competence and Experience We're looking for someone who has completed a social work degree, has knowledge of applicable legislation, and has experience handling child and/or youth cases with the support of BBIC. The work is conducted according to SoL, LVU, and other applicable legislation. As the work often involves meeting people in crisis and/or with complex life situations, it is important that you can see possibilities, convey hope, and treat people with respect. It is important that you find it easy to work independently, but at the same time have an interest in participating in the unit's professional development and work community. Since a large part of the work consists of documentation and administration, you need to have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing. It is meriting if you have: - Education and experience with BBIC - Experience with authority work within child and youth care - Knowledge of the Paraply data system - Category B driver's license We will begin the selection process during the application period and interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis. In the recruitment, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Bromma District Administration values diversity and the qualities it brings to our operations. Stockholm City conducts competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thereby counteracting discrimination. Before a possible interview, bring Swedish/EU EEA ID or passport as well as relevant original documents for the position, diplomas/certificates of education, any issued professional credentials, certificates, or work permits. To work for Stockholm City with children, young people, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, including work in their homes, you must provide an extract from the Police Register of Offenses and Suspicions. For work with LSS services for children with disabilities, you must submit an extract from the Police Criminal Register. You order the extract yourself and it must not be older than six months, or one year for work with children, from the date of issue.Stockholm – our capital with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions.
