The Build Environment Operations unit is responsible for supervision, permitting, and information and consulting within environmental and health protection, food inspection, building permits, and housing adaptation subsidies. The unit is currently divided into two units as well as a lawyer and an administrative group that report directly to the Operations Manager. Today, just over 30 people work in the unit. The unit will be expanded to three units as of January 1, 2027. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your task will be to manage and lead a unit consisting of 11 employees and together manage and further develop routines, processes, and working methods in the unit and in the operations. You have budget responsibility as well as personnel and work environment responsibility for the unit's employees. You are also responsible for quality assurance of deliverables and lawful application with good customer service. The unit consists of employees working in the 8+ fjords project as well as two environmental strategists and four coordinators. The unit is brand new and will be formed on January 1, 2027. As a manager, you will have the opportunity to build up the unit together with the employees and your management colleagues. As a manager and leader, you create conditions for the unit to perform its work in a professional manner. You provide support and guidance in case handling, both from a customer perspective and based on the legislation we work according to. You work to ensure that the unit, through its work, contributes to a good business climate where good dialogue with those we serve is essential. You participate in the operations' management group and share responsibility there for the operations' development and collaboration both within the operations and with other operations within and outside the municipality. At Tindra, we are looking for just the final piece to complete our team. We can offer a 70% position that is almost exclusively scheduled on odd weeks, daytime hours, including every other weekend.
