About the Role of Support Assistant As a Support Assistant, you will provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist residents in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we focus on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in residents' everyday lives.
