About the Department
We are an acute care unit (Department 239 Mölndal) where we care for patients from the emergency department and directly from ambulances. We currently have 16 care beds divided between internal medicine and stroke/TIA beds. Our unique workplace with different specializations offers the opportunity to develop very broad expertise.
You will gain specialized expertise in acute care of stroke patients, while we also have medical patients who are being evaluated and treated for many different conditions. With both patient groups, we work in teams together with both physicians and rehabilitation staff to provide good care and jointly evaluate the patient's symptoms to reach a diagnosis.
What We Offer
You will receive continuous professional development and training in your role. Training in medicine and stroke care is offered to keep you constantly updated in both specializations. We hold lectures for staff every week to continuously develop and gain broader knowledge.
We offer mentoring for nursing assistants to support and facilitate your transition into the position. We are innovative and our methods are not set in stone – we welcome new ideas and are pleased to continuously develop the department and appreciate new ideas and engaged employees.
Our goal is to have training during work hours together every week, which has been a popular part of the workday.
About You
We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant. It is an asset if you have experience in stroke care.
