As an inspection engineer, you will work with inspection and testing of pressure equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels, cisterns, pipelines, and cooling systems. You will ensure that equipment meets applicable legal requirements and regulations, and contribute to our customers maintaining a high safety level in their operations. The work involves both recurring inspections and testing in a wide range of environments, from industrial and energy facilities to properties, hospitals, and large kitchens. One day can start with inspection of a cooking kettle in a school kitchen and end with testing safety functions on a steam boiler in a power station – the breadth of assignments makes the role both developmental and varied.
