ABOUT THE POSITION DEKRA is the leading company in Sweden in the field of pressure equipment and is now seeking staff members for our offices in Gävle and Borlänge! As an inspection engineer, you will work with inspection and testing of pressure equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels, cisterns, pipelines, and cooling systems. You will ensure that equipment meets applicable legal requirements and regulations, and contribute to our customers maintaining a high safety level in their operations. The work involves both recurring inspections and testing in a wide range of environments, from industrial and energy facilities to properties, hospitals, and large kitchens. Work with pressure equipment offers great variety, technical challenges, and many customer interactions! We work according to the principle of freedom under responsibility, which means you independently plan and structure your working days. One day can start with inspection of a cooking kettle in a school kitchen and end with testing safety functions on a steam boiler in a power station – the breadth of assignments makes the role both developmental and varied. Furthermore, we want you to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, and that you hold a Class B driver's license.
