Approximately 3,000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality. Do you want to develop in an operation with broad medical expertise? On Medical Unit 4, you will meet patients with everything from acute medical conditions and infections to cardiac, pulmonary, and surgical issues. The breadth means that no two days are alike, and you quickly develop strong clinical competence. We are a relatively young operation that continues to develop. This means you have the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and future development, while also receiving support from experienced colleagues and a clear commitment to creating a safe and learning work environment. With us, there is a senior nurse function with clear clinical presence in daily work. The function is part of our systematic work with patient safety, learning, and competency development, and provides security for new colleagues as well as support and deepening for more experienced nurses. About Medical Unit 4 Medical Unit 4 is a broad internal medicine ward with 28 care beds where acute care and inpatient care work together. The unit encompasses both the emergency care unit (AVA) and traditional medical inpatient care, which creates a unique breadth and variation in daily work. We care for patients with a wide spectrum of medical diagnoses and, in the AVA, also surgical diagnoses. Many patients are early in their care journey and require careful clinical assessments, observations, and quick decisions, while others need continued medical treatment and care. This means that as a nurse, you develop both your acute competence and your ability to plan and coordinate care over time. Work is characterized by variation, flexibility, and the opportunity to gradually broaden or deepen your competence based on interest and experience. Work is characterized by: - Acute and subacute care flows - Medical assessments and observations - Fast care processes where the right decision at the right time is crucial - Care of patients with complex care needs - Teamwork with shared responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on care With us, you get the best of both worlds – the pace and clinical challenges of acute care, combined with the opportunity to follow the patient's continued care journey. This creates a unique work environment where you develop both broad medical competence and strong clinical judgment skills. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and who: - Thrive in an environment with pace and variation - Want to work close to acute care but in an organized and safe context - Are curious, responsible, and like to learn new things - Appreciate collaboration and teamwork - Want to contribute to the development of the operation You can be newly graduated or have several years of experience. With us, it is just as important how you want to work as how long you have been doing it. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Development and education We want you to feel safe in your role and continue to develop over time. Therefore, we offer: - Individually customized orientation (4-5 weeks) - Frequent follow-ups with the unit manager - Support from senior nurse in daily work - Regular internal training in medicine and care - Clinical foundation year for newly graduated nurses - Simulator training and cross-organizational learning Development with us is not a project on the side – it is part of everyday work.
