Department 26 is a care unit with 18 care beds for children and adolescents with medical and/or surgical conditions. The operations have a wide scope and include care of chronically ill children, as well as children with short-term healthcare needs.
Duties
As a nurse with us, you work with patient care, observation, sampling and treatment, as well as other customary nursing duties on the care unit. We have close collaboration with doctors, nurse assistants, and contact with other professional categories.
At department 26, you will work with children of different ages based on family-centered care, which means close collaboration with the child's parents/guardians.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Specialist nurse in children and youth, or experience of working with children is meriting.
At department 26, both pediatric nurses and basic educated nurses work. As a basic educated nurse, you will receive a permanent Healthcare employment with placement at department 26.
Opportunity for paid further education is available.

About the Operations
Within the business area of children's and youth medicine, we conduct broad pediatric operations and have good expertise in many subspecialty areas. There is a neonatal unit, a pediatric care unit for children and adolescents with both medical and surgical conditions, mobile pediatric team, children's and youth clinic, day care, and three outpatient pediatric clinics. At the children's and youth clinic, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, teachers and play therapists work in close collaboration with each other and with other healthcare staff. The operations have just over 200 employees.
