ABOUT THE ROLE As a test engineer, you will be part of a team that tests and quality assures systems and applications for marine use. You will work primarily in the company's marine test lab, where you have access to the hardware, systems, and equipment needed to test complete solutions. The role focuses on manual testing at the application and system level. You will convert requirements into test cases, analyze system behavior, and troubleshoot deviations in both software and hardware. An important part of the work is understanding how different parts of the system interact and verifying that products meet established requirements. Work does not happen only in the lab. You will also have the opportunity to test and troubleshoot systems on-site and onboard boats to investigate how the technology works in its real operational environment. You will work closely with developers, systems engineers, and other technical expertise throughout the development process. Because the company develops software, hardware, and electronics under one roof, you will have excellent opportunities to develop a broad understanding of the entire product.
