We're looking for someone with documented experience in the profession and interest in being involved in our continued development work of our adapted elementary school. Your role The task of a student assistant involves following students throughout their day with us. This requires you to have a genuine interest and a deeper understanding of the needs students have. The tasks are varied, alternating and sometimes challenging. The work requires good physical fitness and strength, as heavy lifting is included. Tasks include: You help the student find peace in their studies or assist in finding individual solutions so the student can acquire knowledge. You support the student in social situations during school time and practice daily tasks. You support the student in various activities during breaks, in changing rooms, bathroom visits, meals or on outings, outdoor days and more. You work closely with teaching staff where you receive instructions and collaborate on how the work should be carried out. Your role includes maintaining close contact and collaboration with other staff at the school. When needed, you handle individualized medical care/help students with self-care procedures. Your competence and experience We're looking for someone who has: Upper secondary education in children and leisure or care and nursing or equivalent post-secondary education. Documented experience working with the target group, for example in adapted school, day activities, KTT or LSS. Knowledge of intellectual disability and autism. Good ability to express yourself and make yourself understood in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of TAKK and AKK and use this in your work. Fridhemsplan is our main clinic, and we also have a location on Lidingö. We have a contract with Region Stockholm to provide specialist care for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Our clinic includes a well-functioning pediatric practice, pediatric nurse clinic, and child health services (BVC). Our care team currently consists of pediatricians, pediatric nurses, psychologists, nursing assistants, and resident physicians (ST-läkare). Together, we create a safe and welcoming environment for our patients and their families – with a focus on high quality, accessibility, and compassionate care. We also work with modern methods and offer AI support for medical record writing, which contributes to more efficient workflows and more time for patient care. About the Position We are looking for someone who is a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, with or without subspecialization.
