Make a difference. Every day. The Adult Psychiatry operational area (VO) Malmö-Trelleborg, Psychosis Division, consists of three inpatient units and four outpatient units. At our Psychosis Clinic in Trelleborg, we assess, investigate, diagnose, and treat individuals with an already-diagnosed psychotic disorder as well as conditions where psychotic development is suspected. Since 2018, we have also been working according to the FACT method (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment), which means high flexibility and accessibility with much of the treatment taking place in patients' home environments. We have well-established collaboration with our municipalities and care partners, as well as highly engaged staff who work with patients from a holistic perspective. When new-onset psychosis is suspected, we follow a specific concept that includes assessments, investigations, and family work. We conduct group activities at the clinic. DUTIES As a senior physician/specialist physician with us, you work with assessments, diagnostics, and treatments alongside an engaged multidisciplinary team. You have a very important role and are the medically responsible physician for the unit, contributing in a broader way to good and safe patient care at the unit and divisional level. The clinic consists of physicians, nurses, nurse assistants, psychologist, occupational therapist, social worker, medical secretary, peer support, and unit manager. With us, you have the opportunity to develop your expertise within psychiatry. The position also includes on-call duties. Since we receive medical students from basic training, you are also expected to provide supervision to trainees at all levels. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have specialist competence in general psychiatry.
