About the Operations The Rehabilitation Unit consists of five occupational therapists, seven physical therapists/physiotherapists, three social workers, two speech-language pathologists, two dietitians, and three rehabilitation assistants. The work team at our unit has a good atmosphere, and you will have several experienced colleagues who contribute expertise and serve as sounding boards and support in your daily work. Opportunities for further training are naturally also available. Physical therapy work includes work on care wards, day rehabilitation, and outpatient activities both individually and in groups. We also have a mobile team for stroke rehabilitation in the home. We are now seeking a rehabilitation assistant for the rehabilitation unit. The position is a 6-month temporary assignment with a start date to be agreed upon. Duties Varying work between day rehabilitation and medical ward, with focus including stroke. Work with the stroke home rehabilitation team may also be part of the duties on a periodic basis. Assistant Unit Manager for Ambulance Services, Sollefteå

About the Operation Ambulance services have a regional mandate and consist of five ambulance stations, three satellite stations operated by Region Västernorrland, and three ambulance stations in private operation. The operation encompasses approximately 200 employees distributed across five region-operated units, each led by a unit manager, and three contract-operated units. The operation's responsibility includes prehospital care, which involves assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients of all ages and with all types of medical conditions and injuries before hospital care. Ambulance services perform approximately 36,000 assignments per year. In its daily work, the operation maintains important interfaces and collaborations with SOS Alarm, emergency departments, care wards, primary care, psychiatric care, state and municipal rescue services, social services, municipal care and elderly services, and police. Within ambulance services in Sollefteå, approximately 40 specialist nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants (ambulance care providers) currently work. The station currently staffs three ambulances around the clock plus one patient transport resource, which together perform approximately 3,600 assignments per year. We are now expanding the operation with a completely new role as assistant unit manager, who together with our regular unit manager will plan, organize, and lead the work at the unit. As assistant unit manager, you report directly to the unit manager. The employment is a permanent position in the base profession, and the management assignment is time-limited in accordance with the Region's leadership policy.
