About the Operation Close Healthcare Area West plays a central role in the transition to healthcare closer to patients by developing working methods and collaboration that create safe, cohesive care chains based on patient needs. Close Healthcare Area West serves the municipalities of Kramfors and Sollefteå and is tasked with providing patients with care through an integrated care chain that includes well-developed and deepened collaboration with regional hospital care, other hospital specialties, and municipalities within the geographic area. The area comprises four operational divisions: Primary Care Sollefteå - Kramfors with five health centers, Primary Care Special Assignment, Medical Clinic–Emergency Department at Sollefteå Hospital, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. Close Healthcare Area West has approximately 300 employees. We are now seeking a Business Development Manager for Close Healthcare Area West for a permanent position. The position is full-time and start date is by agreement. As a Business Development Manager, your task is to support and enable operational development in close collaboration with managers, strategic roles, and healthcare stakeholders. This position involves work at the area/operational level, primarily focused on the medical clinic and emergency department operations. You will participate in the area's management group and provide supporting assistance in planning and follow-up. As a Business Development Manager, you contribute to enabling operational development by assisting with: Process Management (for example, leading or supporting a work process that includes operational development within the region and in collaboration with municipalities) Methodological Support (for example, providing support to employees/managers in designing development initiatives and using improvement tools) Operational Support to Management (for example, preparing materials that facilitate managers' ability to conduct operational development) Responsibilities Plan and lead projects Plan and lead assignments with associated work groups Participate in the area's operational planning and follow-up Sort and assess which improvement tools can be used for a specific improvement initiative Apply various improvement tools, for example, conduct process mapping and patient flow analysis Participate in internal analysis work, for example related to deviations, incident analysis, risk assessments, follow-up/evaluation Conduct investigations that may include environmental monitoring, current state descriptions, current state analysis, and proposals for new solutions Conduct presentations/reports for various groups, for example to clients, management groups, information and advisory groups, and union representatives Participate as an operational representative in overarching development initiatives and projects Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has relevant education in healthcare Has knowledge of and experience in compiling and documenting relevant materials/reports Has experience with operational development in healthcare or regional development Has strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Has a valid driver's license (Category B) It is an advantage if you: Have experience with project management Have knowledge of and experience in sorting and applying various analysis and improvement models/tools To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Flexible Collaborative Organized Holistic perspective Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several activities that are among the most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
