In our wonderful reception team at the Children and Youth Department, we are six social secretaries and one section manager. We receive and process reports and applications for children and young people ages 0–20. Our tasks include: - conducting initial safety assessments - performing preliminary assessments - providing information, consultation, advice, and referring people to the right office within social services and/or other activities. You will also work together with your colleagues and manager to develop collaboration and consultation with internal and external partners. For example, with preschools, schools, and other professionals to inform about the duty to report and how social services operates. As a social secretary in the reception team, you are an important part of social services' public face. In the reception team, we collaborate extensively with other social secretaries in the unit. We work according to BBIC and to create good meetings with children, young people, and their families, we use various methods and conversation tools, where Signs of Safety is a cornerstone. We also actively work to involve children and young people in our preliminary assessments. Who Are We Looking For? We seek someone who has: - a degree in social work - experience with public authority functions regarding children and youth within social services - a B-class driver's license. It is also a merit if you have experience in investigation and documentation as well as network work and Signs of Safety. You are interested in development work and enjoy varied tasks. You need to be flexible and able to easily adapt to changing circumstances. To function well in this role, you need to be solution-focused and able to make decisions despite pressured situations. As a person, you are confident, stable, have personal maturity, and a structured way of working. You should be able to work independently while also checking in with your closest colleagues and section manager to ensure lawful public authority functions. Your collaboration skills are good and you relate to others in a thoughtful manner. We are looking for substitute teachers in two areas: middle and upper grades, and lower grades and after-school programs. Substitute Teacher for Middle and Upper Grades You teach in different grade levels and subjects within the middle and upper grades. Assignments vary depending on the needs of the activities and involve you being responsible for carrying out planned instruction in the regular teacher's absence. Substitute Teacher for Lower Grades and After-School Programs You teach in different grade levels within the lower grades and conduct lessons based on the regular teacher's planning. During the school day, you also support students and teachers in the classroom.
