Senior Network Technician - Cloud Security

Eccera is now seeking several experienced Network Technicians for our client in northern Stockholm. You will work in a large and complex IT environment where networking, network security, and modern cloud solutions are in focus. Your Responsibilities In the role of Senior Network Technician, you will work with design, implementation, operations, and further development of complex network and security environments. You will work with routing, switching, network security, as well as hybrid and cloud-based solutions. The role also includes troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and development of modern security solutions with a focus on Zero Trust, automation, and scripting. You will collaborate closely with both technical teams and the business to translate requirements into stable and secure technical solutions. Your Profile We are looking for you who have: • At least 8 years of experience in networking, network security, or cloud security. • Documented experience with design and implementation in large or complex IT environments. • Extensive knowledge of: o TCP/IP o Routing (BGP, OSPF) o DNS o NAT o TLS/SSL o Network security • Experience with hybrid and cloud-based network solutions. • Good understanding of Zero Trust principles and modern security architecture. • Ability to translate business requirements into technical design. • Experience working in a consultative manner and collaborating with various stakeholders. • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English. Meritorious • Experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, or ZDX). • Experience with Zero Trust, SSE, or SASE architectures. • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform. • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python. • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OIDC, and Conditional Access. • Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and hybrid networks. • Relevant certifications in Zscaler, Cisco, Microsoft, or cybersecurity.
