Software Engineer Team Lead

We're looking for a Software Engineer Team Lead who wants to help build our architecture, integrations, and AI-driven automation in a company with clear purpose and high pace. You'll work closely with the business and team, contribute to technical decisions, and see the results of your work in daily operations. You'll be part of a growing company within the KEYTO Group. This is a role for someone who thrives in a focused company with short decision-making paths, where you can lead our development forward. You'll contribute to the entire tech delivery, help drive AI solutions toward business systems, and collaborate closely with the rest of the team—all in a company where technology makes a real difference in daily operations. About the Role Together with your team, you'll shape the company's technical direction. Our core is built on Podio as a CRM system and an ecosystem of integrations toward invoicing, accounting, payroll, and communication systems—while we're driving a growing investment in AI and automation. You'll contribute operationally to technical delivery, from architecture to production, alongside the rest of the team. In this role, you'll spend most of your time on practical work—you code, build integrations, review code, and help shape the architecture behind our solutions. You'll work closely with colleagues and have the opportunity to influence how we build and develop our systems. Concretely, this means you: • Work operationally with the entire tech delivery: architecture, integrations, automation, and AI from idea to production • Drive and deliver custom AI solutions toward our business systems • Lead and collaborate with the team on technical development and planning • Develop and maintain a technical development plan together with the team • Take responsibility for security, operations, permissions, and data storage at the system level • Map and document the system landscape—how everything connects, where data flows, and why • Ensure quality through code review, architectural principles, and established practices • Identify together with the team where technology creates the most business value and solve those problems • Ensure high quality in technical solutions and deliveries Our office is located in central Stockholm. Your Background We believe you have approximately 3-5 years of development and coding experience, or alternatively a consultant background who now wants to go in-house and be part of a long-term journey. We want you to be curious, enjoy solving problems, and be able to take technical leadership. We'd like to see that you have: • Experience building and maintaining API integrations between different SaaS systems • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)—preferably with understanding of infrastructure, security, and operations • Good understanding of data modeling and databases • Practical experience with modern AI tools in development or a genuine drive to learn for real • Strong system architecture competence—can think in modules, interfaces, and scalability • Experience with business systems (CRM, accounting, payroll, telephony) or ability to quickly get up to speed in such environments • Ability to communicate and document freely in Swedish Merits: • Experience with Podio, GlobiFlow/Procfu, or similar low-code platforms • Previously worked with staffing, HR, accounting, or CRM systems (e.g., Fortnox, Visma, Quinyx, HubSpot) • Experience evaluating and migrating core systems • Hands-on with LLMs like Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, or similar AI development tools Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about solving everyday problems with technology and sees the business value of what you build. You seek understanding before seeking solutions, and you clearly see the connection between what you build and the value it creates for the business. You have a natural ability to communicate with people regardless of technical background and enjoy working in a team. You think it's fun to deliver things that are actually used, not to build elegant systems that nobody touches. You want to be close to decisions, close to the business, and see the results of your work in operations every week. About Us Veterankraft is part of the KEYTO Group and one of Sweden's leading players for seniors who want to work. We provide staffing and household services with a clear purpose: give experienced people meaningful assignments and our customers reliable help. We're a growing company with ambitious goals, short decision-making paths, and a culture where we do more than we talk. Application This is a full-time position with start date by agreement. We use a trial employment period and handle applications on an ongoing basis. Submit your application as soon as possible! Open care unit 2 consists of 23 employees led by a unit manager. All employees work on behalf of investigating social workers using intensive, structured multimodal approaches. Within the unit, we have two MST teams. You will work together with both teams even though you have your primary affiliation with one team. We share on-call duty and are located in shared premises. We place great emphasis on humility, colleague collaboration, feedback, and the ability to be both creative and solution-focused in your work. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with schools, leisure activities, and other important actors around the young person. As a therapist, you work intensively with 3-4 families simultaneously. You will be part of a team with four family therapists and a team leader. The work takes place primarily in the family's home, and you will also collaborate with, for example, police, schools, and leisure leaders. The team has supervision every week, and you will receive support from experienced colleagues and supervisors to develop within the method. You will also complete MST training if you don't already have that competence. For more information about the method, visit www.mstsverige.se.
