Together, we work to be a district area in a safe city to grow up, live, and age in. Welcome to us Enskede Årsta Vantör Group Housing and Service Housing (LSS) consists of 16 units. At the units, adults with disabilities live in their own apartments with opportunities for social interaction in common areas. Our mission is to offer support and services based on each individual's needs and wishes, and we actively work to promote equality and full participation in community life for our users. Our work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a structured way of working, and low-affect and respectful treatment of users and colleagues. We are now looking for temporary workers who want to work extra at a group housing facility in Enskededalen. We work rotating shifts with day, evening, night, and weekend hours. Your role The work involves supporting, motivating, interpreting, and clarifying daily life for the users as well as providing care and services based on their individual needs. The work also involves collaboration with the user's network. Good physical fitness and endurance are requirements in this work to be able to support the user according to their needs. Your competence and experience To work at this group housing facility, you need to have: Relevant education Knowledge of and practical experience with people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID) Experience working with obsessive-compulsive disorder and/or externalizing behavior and/or self-injurious behavior The ability to handle difficult situations that require you to meet people with challenging behaviors in a low-affect manner. It is a merit if you have completed training in Studio III. We are looking for you as a secure and stable person with self-awareness. You have the ability to plan and prioritize in your daily work. You are humble, unpretentious, and collaborate well with others. You express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and have basic computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Other information Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing. Before employment, you will need to provide a certificate from the criminal record registry. Internal placement may be possible. We face exciting challenges as Eenskede Årsta Vantör's district area grows and completely new neighborhoods are being built. Approximately 20,000 new apartments are planned by 2030. To work for Stockholm City with elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, you must show a certificate from the criminal record registry. The certificate must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
