Our research aims to understand how microglia dynamically modulate neural circuits to influence memory formation and extinction, both under normal conditions and in psychiatric disorders (e.g., anxiety- and fear-related conditions) and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
