Restaurant and Event Manager at Salsta Castle

We are looking for a restaurant and event manager at Salsta Castle We are seeking a key person for our operations at Salsta Castle; someone who enjoys combining cooking and baking with planning, responsibility, and guest interactions. The position is varied and you will, among other things: • plan and oversee the implementation of our group bookings, weddings, and other events • prepare meals for groups, lunches, buffets, and events • bake, prepare, and produce for the café, Afternoon Tea, and weekend activities • plan purchases and production based on upcoming bookings • play an important role in planning and implementing our larger events • work at Salsta operations, including approximately every other weekend • when needed, also work certain days at our new Café Carolina at Carolina Rediviva Customer contact, quotes, and booking management are handled by the operations manager. Your role is to take over and ensure that bookings are executed well – from planning and preparation to cooking and on-site implementation. We are looking for someone who is confident in the kitchen, organized, and self-driven, and who can manage several small and large bookings and tasks simultaneously. Experience from restaurants, cafés, catering, or similar operations is required. What is most important to us is that you are responsible and solution-oriented and enjoy working in an environment where no two weeks are quite alike. Scope: Full-time Workplace: Salsta Castle and certain shifts at Café Carolina in Uppsala Working hours: Weekdays and approximately every other weekend; evenings occur during events Start date: As soon as possible Trial employment: 6 months Does this sound like you?
