Professor in Environmental Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry is now seeking a professor in environmental chemistry who can bring new expertise, new methods and new perspectives, and who complements and strengthens the existing research environment. The position of professor is permanent and should be filled by June 2027 (or by agreement). A generous start-up package is included. Background Environmental Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry is an internationally recognized research environment with both fundamental and applied research. Research areas include anthropogenic organic and organometallic contaminants, sustainable chemicals and techniques to reduce environmental impact. The Department of Computing Science is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the project "Human Interaction with the Humanoid Unitree G1" within WASP, led by Lecturer Zoe Falomir. The position is full-time for two years with a planned start in autumn 2026, or by agreement. Project Description and Work Tasks This project proposes the implementation of a cognitive agent in a humanoid robot that collaborates with a human partner to solve a spatial problem (e.g. 3D puzzle).
