SiS Youth Home Ljungbacken is planning to start a new discharge preparation unit outside the institutional grounds and to open up our available spaces at the institutional grounds. We are therefore seeking a Treatment Coordinator. Your duties may initially be at a locked unit until the new discharge preparation unit is ready. As a Treatment Coordinator at our discharge preparation unit, you will be an important part of the youth's journey toward greater independence. You work in a team with treatment educators and a group leader. The unit is led by a unit manager. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that the youth living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. The unit is an open treatment facility and an important part of SiS's internal care pathway, which aims to provide a stepwise and structured transition from care in an institutional environment. The focus is to support the youth in establishing and maintaining functioning strategies and skills for life outside the institutional environment. Treatment activities consist mainly of skills training aimed at preparing the youth for a functioning life after discharge, both practically and socially. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up on program activities. You conduct treatment conversations and have special responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. You collaborate with various functions at the institution regarding assessment, establishment, and follow-up of treatment plans. The role of Treatment Coordinator also includes special responsibility for supervising new employees and interns. An important shared responsibility for all staff is to contribute to creating a safe environment and ensuring that security is maintained according to procedures. Then the position of Treatment Educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a Treatment Educator, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the youth and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We are now seeking four treatment educators for permanent employment in awake night shift duties. As night treatment staff, you work in continuous awake shifts. You help ensure that the night routines on the unit function as they should. You are responsible for supervising the youth. You help ensure that security at the institution is maintained according to our procedures and documentation may be part of your work. You are responsible for maintaining and participating in the alarm group, as well as safety and fire prevention during nighttime.
