Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the position of Treatment Educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a Treatment Educator, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the youth and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need.
We are now seeking four treatment educators for permanent employment in awake night shift duties. As night treatment staff, you work in continuous awake shifts. You help ensure that the night routines on the unit function as they should. You are responsible for supervising the youth. You help ensure that security at the institution is maintained according to our procedures and documentation may be part of your work. You are responsible for maintaining and participating in the alarm group, as well as safety and fire prevention during nighttime. You work on building secure relationships and help ensure that our youth receive the safety and security they need to break established patterns of behavior.
Other work tasks may include:
Documentation in the journal system KAJ
Assisting with various evening routines and bedtime
Participating in joint handovers
Assisting with various morning routines and preparing breakfast
Facility maintenance on the units

Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a fundamental positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in a vulnerable life situation and you share SiS values, to be a place for change. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with youth as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts in a constructive way.
You must also have:
A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) focused on social/educational treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent
Category B driver's license
Good Swedish, spoken and written
Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
Working hours are according to schedule for awake night shift work.
