Your Assignment In this combined role, you will work with both the municipality's land and development issues and with developing business in Färgelanda. You will be an important part of the municipality's strategic work for growth, establishment, housing development, and business climate. The role involves close collaboration with municipal management, political representatives, businesses, developers, property owners, regional actors, and residents. Responsibilities Land and Development Area You represent the municipality as a landowner and work with municipal land from technical, economic, and legal perspectives. In the role, you work with purchasing, selling, and acquiring land as well as handling land allocations and development projects. You are responsible for preparing and negotiating development and implementation agreements and manage leases, usufruct agreements, and easement matters. The work also includes real estate law issues and surveying matters, participation in detailed planning processes and physical planning, as well as developing guidelines, procedures, and governance documents. You also prepare decision-making materials for boards and the municipal council. Business Development and Establishment As a business development strategist, you are responsible for coordinating and developing the municipality's business development work. An important part of the assignment is creating and developing good relationships with the local business community through company visits, networking meetings, and other meeting places. You support existing businesses in their development and expansion while actively working with new establishment issues. The role also includes analyzing business development, labor market conditions, and relevant external factors to identify opportunities and needs. You contribute to the municipality's work on rural development and tourism, represent the municipality in regional networks within Dalsland, Fyrbodal, and Western Sweden, and work to strengthen Färgelanda's attractiveness as an establishment and residential municipality. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a university or college degree in civil engineering, surveying, real estate law, physical planning, economics, business development, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working in land and development matters, community development, or business development and have a good understanding of real estate law issues and community building processes. We also see that you have experience in development work or strategic work. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing and have a B-class driving license. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience working in a politically governed organization. Experience with negotiations and contract work is highly valued, as is knowledge of the Planning and Building Act, the Land Code, and the Property Formation Act.
