Product Chief - Chief Product Officer (CPO)

The Tranemo Group, with sales companies in 12 countries, has experienced rapid growth in recent years and generates over 750 MSEK in annual revenue. We are now seeking a Product Chief to lead the development of the next generation of flame-protective work clothing: About the Position The role of Product Chief is an absolutely key position within the Tranemo Group. For the right person, this is one of the most challenging, inspiring, and rewarding positions available. You own and direct the development of our innovative range of flame-protective work clothing. The CEO previously held this role, but due to the company's rapid expansion, the management team must grow. - As owner of the product portfolio, you are responsible for ensuring Tranemo offers a competitive and profitable range. - You lead the cross-functional product council where decisions are made regarding the product mix and ensure that comprehensive solutions meet customer needs while remaining competitive and efficient in internal processes. - You drive our major collections from a product lifecycle perspective so we always have the right development projects in the pipeline and proper launches underway. - You are responsible for competitor and trend monitoring. - You act as the buyer in close collaboration with Product Innovation, Product Development, and Marketing. - You are responsible, together with Marketing, for product launches to our 12 sales companies across Europe. - You participate in pricing, forecasting, and other internal processes. - You work cross-functionally and report to the CEO. - You are part of the management team and have some personnel responsibility. You Are: - commercially minded with strategic depth - positive and energetic with strong drive - a structured visionary with the ability to envision and champion future innovations - comfortable in a multifaceted "central hub" role - skilled at listening, collaborating, and positively influencing your contacts throughout the organization - comfortable speaking and presenting in public in Swedish and English - located within commuting distance to Tranemo so you can be on-site most days of the week - ready and motivated to take on one of the company's most important roles in a market-leading organization Knowledge & Skills - academically educated, likely at the master's level - several years of professional experience, perhaps as a product manager at an innovation-driven company or as a strategy consultant - understanding and knowledge of textile processes - fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Do not hesitate to apply if you are the key to an innovative company with an exciting future.
