Solhaga care home in Väckelsång is now seeking a new colleague for our night shift. Solhaga consists of two units with shared comfortable day spaces and outdoor areas. The night shift consists of five dedicated employees. The role includes standard care tasks as well as delegated medication management. You work closely with both colleagues and nurses to ensure safe, secure, and person-centered care for our residents. With us, you have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. We are now seeking temporary staff interested in working within home care / senior living in Väckelsång. Working in care and nursing is varied and enjoyable. The most common work tasks can be divided into four categories: • Helping in the home environment: such as cleaning, laundry, making beds, shopping, and cooking. • Personal care: assisting with showers and toilet visits, dressing, nail cutting, shaving, or helping with meals. • Activities: Your assignment also includes carrying out various activities for those you help, such as going for a walk. • Medical tasks: such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medication. Other important parts of the work include documenting according to current procedures and collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals for the best possible care. You will work Monday through Sunday with varying hours, both day and evening shifts. Being a temporary staff member means: • You replace regular staff during absences. • You work on short-term assignments of 1-14 working days. • Your working hours are by agreement based on the activity's needs and your preferences. You have access to a mobile and/or computer to actively make yourself available in our staffing system. • You will be contacted via SMS regarding short-term assignments, which means many contacts happen with short notice, often the same day as the need arises. Qualifications It is an advantage if you are a nursing assistant or have equivalent training, and/or have experience in care and nursing work. As a person, you are flexible, adapt easily to change, and are empathetic in your approach. You have very good Swedish language skills and can communicate freely in both speech and writing.
