Your Responsibilities As a substitute teacher, you will replace the school's regular staff during absences, usually of an acute nature and shorter vacancies. You need to be prepared to be booked for work with short notice, usually the same morning. You are responsible for and lead the teaching in accordance with the planning provided by the regular teacher.
