The Education Department is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school programs, upper secondary school, and adult education. St. Olofs School is a grades 7-9 school beautifully located in central Sigtuna. We work to provide all students with security and knowledge that lasts. All students should acquire the knowledge and skills needed for both today's and tomorrow's society and continued success in school. With a focus on knowledge, security, and well-being, we actively work to create a good learning environment for all our students. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach Physical Education and Health in grades 7-9 and other subjects based on the school's needs. You will be part of a subject team where you collaborate with school leadership and colleagues to achieve the school's goals. You will co-plan, co-assess, and develop pedagogically together with colleagues in collegial learning to create good learning environments for the school's students. This position is a temporary contract with good opportunities for extension. QUALIFICATIONS • You hold teacher certification issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education in the relevant subject or have a teaching degree. • You have experience working at the upper secondary level and are familiar with the school's governing documents. • You have good classroom leadership skills and view alignment and collaboration as important components for contributing to security, academic focus, and good goal achievement throughout the school. As a person, you are organized in that you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. You handle stress constructively, maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks, and are solution-oriented. Employment Type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 3-6 months, ends: 2026-12-18.
