Quality Manager

State Education Development Agency (Reg. No. 90001800413) invites you to join our team as a Process Management Manager in the Project Management Division of the Education Content Department (one full-time position for a fixed term until May 31, 2029) We offer: an interesting and responsible position in the field of vocational education development within the ESF+ project "Development of Professional Qualifications System to Ensure Education Quality"; an opportunity to gain valuable work experience; an opportunity to expand your knowledge and professional skills; work in a team with professional and responsive colleagues; gross salary from 1258 euro to 2100 euro (position classified at level II of job family 38.1); health insurance after the probation period and additional leave; work location in Riga city center. Key job responsibilities: lead and coordinate the joint development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of cooperation mechanisms and other management processes, using general quality and process management principles; provide support in the development of process management principles by assessing requirements and needs within the vocational education system. Lead project information flow, coordinate information exchange with agency structural units, project staff and cooperation partners; provide support and consultation in all processes of professional education content provision, implementation, execution, evaluation and monitoring, and in the development of their management process descriptions; participate in identifying professional education content components necessary for content transfer to the digital platform "Professional Qualifications System", ensuring their compliance with process, interaction and cooperation mechanism procedure descriptions and schemes; ensure accumulation, preservation and use of project documentation, documentation related to payment requests, and cooperation partner documentation; prepare implementation reports and information reports, including analytical assessments, progress reports, summaries and reports on achieved results; develop recommendations for state-level policy planning documents, including identification of necessary changes to regulations and preparation of amendments to regulations or development of new regulations. Requirements for candidates: academic or professional higher education (comprehensive quality management) corresponding to at least level six of the Latvia Qualifications Framework or other higher education and training in quality management courses; at least 3 (three) years of work experience in developing quality management systems, preferably in the education sector; excellent knowledge and skills in process planning, implementation management and supervision; knowledge of development planning documents and regulations related to the job duties and the ability to apply them; excellent communication and cooperation skills, ability to build positive relationships, accuracy and sense of responsibility; ability to plan and organize work in stressful situations and limited time, as well as independently make decisions and take responsibility for decisions made; ability to argue and substantiate your opinion; state language proficiency at advanced level 2 degree (C2); proficiency in one EU member state foreign language at communication level; ability to work with a computer, use computer programs and other information technologies. Public Relations Specialist

ZĀĻU VALSTS AĢENTŪRA announces an open competition for a vacant position – Public Relations Department Public Relations Specialist (indefinite term) Position Objective: To participate in internal and external communications, public relations projects, and event organization for Zāļu valsts aģentūra (hereinafter – the Agency). To ensure content development of the Agency's website, monitor public information, and ensure timely communication with the Agency's target audiences. Profession Code: 2432 08 Key Position Responsibilities: prepare press releases and responses to media inquiries in Latvian and English, participate in organizing local and international informational campaigns, press conferences, press briefings, and individual interviews conducted by the Agency, assess, select, and compile information published in Latvian and foreign media related to the Agency. Prepare publication summaries and publish them on the Agency Portal, coordinate the development and improvement of the Agency's website www.zva.gov.lv, ensure information currency on the site, promote and ensure external communication of the Agency, cooperation with media, organize public opinion surveys, coordinate public information activities (informational campaigns, events, press conferences, etc.), maintain mutual information exchange with the Agency's cooperation partners, ensure communication on social media (Facebook, X, LinkedIn) and internal communication, including updating information on the employee Portal, consult with the Agency leadership and employees on communication-related matters.
