Treatment and Care Staff at HVB Älvstorp in Nora

The Workplace Älvstorp Care Home is centrally located in Nora and offers 48 HVB beds plus the detoxification unit Sobera with 7 beds, in addition to outpatient services. We serve adults with substance abuse issues, criminal backgrounds, mental health concerns, and higher care needs. Our treatment is based on evidence-based knowledge, professional approach, and the individual's participation in planning their care. The Position We are now seeking care and treatment staff with nursing competence for a permanent position at HVB Älvstorp in Nora. Job Responsibilities As treatment and care staff, you will work together with colleagues to provide clients with a safe, stable, and meaningful stay. Your responsibilities are varied and include: - Implementation of various treatment interventions and counseling. - Care and medication management. - Documentation and follow-up with commissioning parties. - Practical tasks that support the operations and clients. Requirements & Experience Education - We are looking for someone with training as a nursing assistant/care worker, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position (minimum two-year post-secondary education). - A valid driver's license (category B) is required, as the position involves work-related travel. Experience - Beneficial if you have prior experience working in substance abuse care. - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. - Good IT skills and administrative ability with an interest in documentation, as this is part of the job duties.
