Supplier Quality Engineer

The opportunity HVDC is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role, you will be part of the Supplier Quality team that is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way. You will be working with supplier quality and development for HVDC Valve Components, which could be described as the heart of the HVDC station. How you'll make an impact Drive quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance through quality plan implementation. Collaborate with other functions such as SCM, Engineering, R&D, and others. Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring robust execution of the supplier qualification process. Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify areas for improvement using supplier scorecards. Manage supplier nonconformities, including containment actions, corrective actions, and root cause analysis, and periodically analyze historical nonconformities to drive improvement plans. Plan, execute, and follow up on surveillance audits to support quality assurance and continuous improvement. Lead supplier quality reviews to drive continuous improvement. Support the supplier claim management process. The role involves approximately 50% travel, both domestically and internationally, including supplier visits for qualification audits, quality issue resolution, process development, and inspections. Your background Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in quality roles, preferably within a multinational company. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments. Green Belt certification is desirable. Experience conducting quality audits. Certified Quality Auditor certification is considered an advantage. Good knowledge of, or experience with, manufacturing process assessments. Experience with product qualification processes (PPAP or similar). Experience applying quality methodologies and continuous improvement tools. Fluency in both English and Swedish. Quality Specialist for Winding in Power Transformers

The Opportunity Would you like to help ensure quality in one of the most critical processes in transformer production? We are now seeking a quality specialist in winding who wants to take a key role in our quality work. You will be part of a dedicated and experienced quality team where you work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure that our products meet high standards for quality and performance. In this role, you will be a specialist in the winding process and contribute your expertise in deviations, root cause analyses, improvement projects, and audits. R&D Quality Engineer

The opportunity As an R&D Quality Engineer, you will ensure quality excellence across New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and enhancements to the active product portfolio. Reporting to the TC Quality Manager, you will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and certification teams to ensure products are designed, validated, and released in full compliance with internal processes and external standards. This role is ideal for a hands‑on quality professional with engineering mindset who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and international R&D environment. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You'll Make an Impact Lead quality execution across NPI projects, from concept and feasibility through product qualification, certification, and release, ensuring milestones, deliverables, verification, and validation requirements are met. Integrate quality requirements into project planning, ensuring quality objectives are clearly defined, understood, and embedded throughout all development phases for new and existing products. Drive proactive quality risk management, facilitating DFMEA, PFMEA, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and reliability assessments; define critical‑to‑quality (CTQ) characteristics and support development of Quality Control Plans. Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) related to NPI issues, problem reports, and design changes, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor project quality performance, identify gaps in quality planning or execution, capture lessons learned, and proactively recommend improvements to strengthen future projects and processes. Your Background Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant work experience from related field. Understanding of Quality Management Systems and structured NPI frameworks (e.g., Stage‑Gate, APQP). Knowledge regarding FMEA, DFM/DFA, PPAP, RCA, and other core quality tools. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
