We are looking for a parish priest who wants to steward what we have built and lead us forward through changes in the world around us, together with staff, volunteers, and elected representatives. We have a solid foundation to stand on with good collaboration with elected representatives, engaged parish councils and staff, as well as stable finances. We know that clarity in responsibility and mandate is crucial to prevent gray zones. That's why we actively work with clear responsibility distribution between the parish priest, church council, and unit heads, as well as regular check-ins between the parish priest and the chair of the church council. You will have the mandate to lead operations and employer matters in a professional manner, supported by expertise in finance and administration. About the Position As a parish priest, you lead the parish's activities according to church regulations. The assignment comprises three parts: spiritual leadership (worship life, teaching, diaconal work and mission), employer responsibility (organization, working environment and personnel), and strategic leadership (long-term development, finances and collaboration).
